The Home Wise Catalogue is an online 'virtual shop' that we re-brand for selected Marketing Partners

Our Marketing Partners are generally other businesses that deal with clients who are moving house – removalists, property managers, executive rental managers, body corporate managers etc

The reason we choose to use these sorts of companies to promote and sell products from our catalogue is because a lot of research shows that demand for the sorts of products that we sell is highest when people are moving house. So for us it seems to make sense to approach customers through a trusted and familiar relationship and provide a great product at just the right time

To do so, we build a series of web pages for these businesses that have embedded within them the Home Wise Catalogue. These pages present in almost identical fashion to that Partner’s existing website and branding and the user’s experience is a seamless transition from one to the next

In fact, some partners that we deal with make this their only business. FAQ's

Do I have to have my own website to use this service?

No you don’t actually. We can create a whole new space and business identity for you if you believe you can drive traffic to it. If you have a way of doing so this could be an effective stand-alone business for you

Do you only deal with certain industries?

Well, we generally deal with a specific group of businesses that belong to industries where the clients are moving house or thinking about household things. That said, there is no rule against other businesses joining us as Partners. In fact, we would love to experiment with a wide range of businesses but before you paid the set-up fee you would need to be sure that your business had a chance to make some money with us

How do you track where the customers come from?

Each Partner’s site operates from a separate sub-domain and all of the traffic that arrives at that site is identified separately. This allows us to report to each Partner with their individual traffic and purchase counts. Also, it is through this function that we can provide accurate commission payments and reports

How much are the commissions??!!

The most Frequent of Frequently Asked Questions! We're a little bit reluctant to post the answer to this question in the public domain because it’s not quite as straight forward as a single number. We reward our best Partners with higher commissions and things other than just cash. We also encourage our new Partners with higher commissions to provide some incentive to get into the program and make it happen for them. Plus, the commission rates change from time to time. If you’d like to know what they are today then please call us to speak to a Partner Relationship Manager who can tell you all about it. Being a Partner with us is a great thing to do. Our Partners are the most important part of our business. We try to make them feel that way by providing a whole lot of benefits from their association with us. If you have the slightest interest in being involved then we would love to talk to you all about it

How much does it cost to be involved?

$780 simply covers the cost of building your site. You then just pay $39 each month that you are involved. For these fees you are subscribed to a regularly updated catalogue, your pages are constantly renewed with the latest products and prices and you will be informed of news about product specials should you wish to pass this information on to your clients. At any time you like you may cancel the service and you will not pay any further fees but any commissions owing at that point will, of course, still be paid to you

How much money will I make?

We aren’t able to make any representations as to likely income from the arrangement. It is up to you to imagine how many clients you currently have that may benefit from this service. You can also speak to one of our Partner Relationship Managers and they will tell you about our current commission rates and the sorts of average purchase value that other businesses like yours generate

I don’t know anything about DVD Players. How can I sell this stuff to my clients?

This is a great question because it allows us to provide our favourite answer – the beauty of this business is what we call –‘empowered diversity’. Home Wise empowers other businesses to become a diversified service provider even though the business may have zero strength in this new area. We specialise in product sourcing, logistics and customer service and we bring all of that to you in an automated module that fits neatly into your existing product and service mix. We handle all of the customer enquiries, all of the shipping, all of the payments, all of the returns, warranty issues and so on. You just need to let people know that it’s there

What if there's a problem? I don't want to deal with upset customers

Of course, you don’t. Even more importantly – no one can afford to upset a valuable customer. That's why we have a dedicated 1800 number for customer service calls. Customers can also contact us via email 24/7. We will manage all of the customer service enquiries as well and at every point we will ensure that our standards of service result in the highest conversion of your leads to customers

Where do the pages sit?

The web pages that we create for you sit on our own server so that we can make sure they are always updated and operating effectively. Also, because we host the pages there is no inconvenience or additional cost to you. Plus, when we set up the pages we don’t have to bother you for your DNS settings or plough through your existing code to embed the new pages. The only exception to this is when we place a link on your home page. This is not mandatory but it’s an ideal way to alert customers to your new service and if you’d like us to install it then we will have our developers work with you to make sure it is a simple process

Where do your products come from?

We source our products from a variety of different suppliers. Many are large multi-national companies. Others are smaller local companies that we have chosen because of their fantastic product range and excellent ability to fit in with our logistics processes. In every case our suppliers are limited to those companies that are robust financially, of good standing and those that are providing the best available goods (and service)

Who pays for transport?

Your clients pay for the delivery according to the size and weight of the item(s) they purchase
